You are where you are and continue to stay where you are based on your belief system. The power of belief is the one thing that can propel man to his highest achievements.
John Stuart Mill wrote “One person with a belief is equal to a force of ninety nine people who have only interests. Belief is what pushed Ghandi in his relentless non-violent campaign for change in India, belief in a better life is what pushed Andrew Carnegie from sweeping floors in a telegraph office to become founder of U.S. Steel and one of the richest men in the world, and that same belief in the betterment of man that endowed America with a total of 2,509 public libraries, built between 1883 and 1929, and all paid for by Carnegie, as well as Carnegie-Mellon University.
A powerful belief can also be physically transformative. I remember a story told by Tony Robbins, of a visit by the author Norman Cousins to Pablo Cassals, one of the greatest musicians ever. Cousins described the massive, almost miraculous transformation, that came over Cassals in front of the authors eyes.
He watched this old man in his late eighties shuffling into his living room, wheezing though his emphasima, hands curled off up with artthritis, and looking every part the frail old man of his years.
He watched as he shuffled onto the piano, and gradually slowly start to play. As if given a new dose of life he watched as Cassals shrugged off the restrictions of old age and raced across the keyboards, with the energy of someone half his age. After two vigourous, challenging peices, the musician stood up, liberated with no sign of any stoop or breathing difficulty and walked to his kitchen where he had a full breakfast before taking a walk on the beach.
Cassals believed fervently in art and music, it had been his life and gave him his reason “why” – his reason for being. His belief was such that it empowered him to feats that would be challenging even for a fit musician half his age. He was able to alter his physical state based on his belief.
Belief has the power of good or the power of bad depending on how it is directed. Your beliefs about yourself can bring you success or equally guarantee that you do not leave the ground. Examine what you truly believe and whether those beliefs are serving you, or serving others.
Once you grasp the truth of the statement ”Our attitude towards Life – determines Life’s Attitude towards Us” you will understand the answer as to why a section of people do so well in life, while others barely get by.
Your Attitude Is Everything, and it will just as readily create a life of resentful, defensive, nothingness, as the most positive, effective, successful of lives.
If it were possible to sum up the key to success in one single word it would be ‘Attitude’
Your attitude really IS everything. And it is so completely within our control. It just takes a DECISION that you will no longer tolerate second best mediocrity or negativity of any sort whatsover.
The well known broadcaster Earl Nightingale, set a 30 Day Challenge. He maintained that if you will push all negativity, complaining, moaning, blaming, however justified you may feel, to one side for a period of just 30 days, you will be so happy with the change in your life, you will never go back to your old habits.
A good mental attitude also allows you to see opportunities where previously they were hidden, and allows your mind to be free to set about accomplishing any goal you set for yourself.

To your great success,
Thanks to the free training made available several times a week inside the Prosperity Team and to Aaron Rashkin for sharing. Here is the answer to help beginner marketers overcome one of the biggest problems when starting out:
– “How can I position myself in a positive light when I don’t have results of my own to show yet”.
Edify – speak highly of, build up – those that have achieved the results you are trying to emulate and how they did it, by doing this it not only puts you in an favourable light by expressing a positive mental attitude but also gets you in the habit of practicing gratitude at the same time
To your great success,
Countless eBay users were this week urged to alter their passwords regarding one of the largest data breaches in history.
The web-based giant admitted that hackers had secured access to site visitor details including passwords, email addresses, dates of birth and home addresses in February and March of this year. It said that “a large part” of its database, which runs to some 145 million users, was risked, but that not financial data such as credit card details was accessed.
Despite issuing assurances that all passwords were encrypted and unlikely to have been unscrambled, eBay is advising all registered customers to change their password to be on the safe side. Instructions on how to do this can be found there.
The main danger with data breaches of this type is that rather than simply gaining access to the site that was hacked, the criminals will sit on the data and test out username and password combinations on other sites. This is often successful because so many people use exactly the same details on numerous sites.
Worse still, a large percentage of those passwords are horribly poor. Security firm Splashdata releases a list each year of the most regular stolen passwords. 2013 saw “123456″ beat “password” to hit the number one spot. Other types of noteworthy (bad) entries include “qwerty”, “abc123″ and “letmein”. All are asking for trouble.
Ensuring that your passwords are secure and unique, but still memorable, takes some imagination, but it can be done. An example of a unique password system that we consistently give, is based on lyrics from a song such as Hotel California by the Eagles: Take the first letter of each word ‘Mirrors on the ceiling, pink champagne on ice’- and you get “motcpcoi”.
For a level of added security add a ^ sign after ‘ceiling’, and a dollar sign at the end of the line to give motc ^ pcoi$.
To use on several sites you then add the second letter of the website name in second place, and the last letter of the website name to the final letter of your new password. So for annualcreditreport your password would be mnotc ^ pcoi$t– and despite the complexity of the new password, you can easily retrieve it just by humming the tune, remembering the ‘personalisation’ to each website, and you’ll be rattling out unique and very secure passwords for each and every website you use in a matter of seconds. No paper lists. No forgotten passwords.
The song Hotel California is just used as an example of course. The same formula can be applied to any song, for example – you could go for Jamiroquai – titrofsc ^ (‘This is the return of the space cowboy’) or maybe Michael Jackson – ibibyki ^ (‘I’m bad, I’m bad, you know it’). With the added bonus that you get to hum your favourite song to remember your password variations!
Here are a couple of really useful tools for your business which are completely free and which you should be using. It’s easy to discount something as having little value, just because it’s free, but even the top earners are using these tools that’s how useful they are.
The first tool is Google Drive, this was a service rumoured to be offered by Google way back in 2006 actually saw the light of day in April 2012, as a kind of beefed up version of Google docs. Google Drive is basically a whole suite of office applications ranging from excel-type spreadsheets, docs, and even photo-editing capabilities
The advantage of this being that everything is stored in “the cloud” and can be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection using your i-pad, phone, laptop, or other device. There are services similar to this, for example Apple’s iCloud, and Microsoft’s SkyDrive, but these are paid services, whereas Google Drive is free
Google Drive comes with 15GB worth of storage for free and really shows it’s value on collaborative projects. For example if you are working with a team of people on a spreadsheet where everyone is contributing output, each person can have their own colour and can see each others alterations in real time. Once a change is made it is updated and synchronised with all devices that are connected. A history of all changes made can also be seen under “Activity” in the Drive.
The second tool is You Tube. You may not be aware that You Tube is the second largest search engine after Google search. Just use the search box inside of You Tube instead of Google search The video service was was bought by Google in 2006 for $1.65 billion, and as such has the same effectiveness as searching on Google. You Tube is particularly useful for explanations of questions beginning “How To…” – for example How Can I Set Up A Blog, or How Do I Use The Keyword Planner. Google search can provide many other text answers, but if you are more of a visual learner, using You Tube search the chances are good that someone will have shot a video explanation,
The Third Tool is Google Voice. This tool enables you to have your own G-mail number as a number that can both call mobiles and landlines for free anywhere in the continental United States (not free in the U.K.). Skype has similar systems as does Apple but they are both paid services that lack the functionality of Google Voice. This tool enables you to screen calls, have calls diverted to your landline or mobile, as well as providing a downloadable recording of any voicemails left.
Two other free google tools worthy of mentioning are Google Hangouts, a free and very effective alternative to paying expensive webinar hosting fees, and G-mail, Google’s email service which most people will be familiar with but which does so much more than just send and receive mail. There is talk that Google may be merging Google Voice with Hangouts in the not too distant future, and phasing out Voice altogether, but all of it’s features should remain the same.
